after the week three execution
[ Wow, what a shitty morning.
Shitty weekend, more like.
Shitty week, really, or we can go even further and say that everything's been bullshit since they found themselves on Moron Island, but this week has upped the ante by an exponential factor and while Serph realizes he could be doing a hell of a lot worse (he's not dead and he has all of his limbs and eyes, which is more than a lot of them can say), it's still enough to make a guy wish he could just go to sleep and wake up in a couple of months when everything's blown over and they're all dead anyway.
Because that's looking more and more like the inevitable outcome, here.
And Serph's not entirely sure what Bellamy's preferred coping mechanisms for a situation like this are, but he's also pragmatic enough to realize that the easiest way of figuring it out is to just ask, so - ]
Do you need space?
[ Though he's also perfectly willing to stick around, instead. ]

SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY I HAD TO CHECK SOMETHING BUT STRAP IN
I ran into Vriska earlier. She told me you're a siren.
[No preamble, Bellamy?]
aw yeah heeeeere we go
He's suspected this was going to come out sooner or later, and if he's honest with himself, he'd rather it was here and now than in the middle of a trial when there's no chance for them to discuss it like rational adults, but it's not a conversation he's been looking forward to, nonetheless. ]
I am.
[ Serph doesn't beat around the bush. ]
:')
So what's your plan?

[ Is he bitter about that? Quite possibly. ]
We haven't discussed our next move yet - or, following from that, whether anything we've just learned changes that.
[ Because while he's always had concerns about everything they hear from Hal and Pal, the fact that there's another role that's been given the opposite situation as how to end the game without everyone dying...and the fact that one lies, one tells the truth.
Can they figure out which is which, and who got the real version of things?
Is it worth risking the rocks fall, everyone dies situation if they can't? ]

[And he's not sure how much protecting he can do, really, but he's going to try.]
If we can bring those people back, we need to try.

Despite the obvious problems with taking the Chiefs at their word, the possibility that they might have been truthful about that much is too important to reject.
[ It's a bullshit hand they've been dealt, no matter how you look at it, but they've seen how well attempts to circumvent the rules have gone so far. Unless they find a foolproof way to break the game, they all need to tread carefully. ]
Vriska, especially, needs to lay low for the near future. [ She's been visible and getting shit done, but there's only so much any of them can afford to draw attention. ] It'll probably be...my turn, this time or the next.
[ His turn to actually do what he is frankly astonished nobody has accused him of doing, yet. ]

[That's probably obvious, but it's what pops out of his mouth first. God, he's so tired. He doesn't even want to consider this, but he tries to tell himself it's a last ditch effort. They have until Thursday.]
Vriska thinks the rest of the group might try to kill all of you if they find out, even though they know the rule about all the sirens dying. What do you think of that?

haaaaaa.
Yeah, that was definitely the first thing on his mind. He nods. ]
...I should be fine, for this week.
[ It's always been his first concern about whenever it's his turn to draw the short straw - there's no way he can eat without outing himself, but if he's too far gone then as soon as he smells blood he's not going to care - but at least one good thing came of the complete shitshow that is week three, and that was people making sure he got fed. ]
I think it's likely. At the very least, some will be arguing for it even if others are wary. The natural disinclination to reject anything Hal says is strong.
[ They may see it as too inherently risky to reject, but he doesn't doubt that some people won't. ]

You meet tomorrow, right? Don't touch Lucina or Magilou. Please.
[He hates that he even asks for it. Putting Lucina's safety over everyone else on the chopping block feels horrible, stomach turning, but he does it anyway.]

I don't have any intention of harming Lucina.
[ He could make a logical argument for it to his fellow Sirens, if he had to; Lucina's probably one of the people who's shown the most trust in him, and she's quietly helped him with his food issues. But when it comes down to it...
He does, selfishly, want her in particular to make it out of this in one piece. ]

Do you have a plan yet?
